Man and Superman

George Bernard Shaw

Why I looked at this book

The true artist will let his wife starve, his children go barefoot, his mother drudge for his living at seventy, sooner than work at anything but his art.

That was the quote that brought this play to my attention. I'm not sure what it is about, but I'm rather hoping that it will look at the way so many of us try to be different from everyone else, and whether this is good for us.
