Introduction to computational proteomics

Golan Yona

Why I looked at this book

I am interested in the prediction of protein structure, and this looks to be a useful introduction to the subject, giving a reasonably comprehensive idea of what is going on, without getting too bogged down in technical details

First impressions

The first two chapters (introduction and the basics) give a well laid out and easy to follow beginning to the subject, but chapter 3 gets on to some pretty complicated mathematics. I'll have to see how the book continues.
